Sometimes, ideas need to percolate. Gothic Kiss is one of those projects, that I lovely refer to as a “zombie project.” These are projects that feel like I’ve left them for dead, but eventually they come back to life. In a good way, of course!
photography tip: go low
Often one of the best things you can do to get a good photo is to get your knees dirty. This is shot of a cheap resin cherub sculpture that sits beside my steps. It has some dirt clinging to it, but that actually makes it look more stone-like than when it was pure white.
Bird Business Card Case
This bird-themed business card case design came from an experiment. The bottom layer is a stamped bird design on a pale yellow translucent sheet. The top layer is a mokume gane pattern created from slicing into purple and gold polymer sheets.
