Hey 1970 babies, this is our year! 2020 brings the gift of our 50th birthdays. For me the big day isn’t until March, but I’ve chosen to welcome this scary number a little early and honor it throughout the entire year.
I have a few friends who chose “50 drinks with 50 friends” as a milestone marker, but as an introvert that seems like a lot of pressure to me. I’m sure there will be drinks with friends in 2020, but I’m not promising 50 🙂
50 expressions of creativity
Instead 2020 will be a year of creative exploration marked with 50 projects that bring me joy. There are no rules to what defines a “project” other than the fact my heart says it counts. Big, small, personal, work-related, edible, non edible; it is all fair game. No doubt there will be days filled with sculpting, gardening, and home makeover projects, yet I’m excited to see what surprise interests will be unearthed in this time of experimentation.
So happy birthday year to me, and all of my fellow 1970s babies. Let’s show this world what fab at 50 looks like!
