Polymer Egg Art
This curious-looking white rabbit, emerging from his hole, is my latest adventure in polymer-covered egg art. For this one, I layered a hollow chicken egg shell with a polymer base, leaving an open area to cut a hole in the shell. That allowed me to sit the rabbit down in for a more 3-dimensional look. Everything you see here was sculpted by hand. Most of the color comes from the clay itself. I use very little paint and no molds.
This piece is in a private collection, but new wonders are listed in my online Etsy shop. Click below to visit. I also take a limited number of custom orders each year.
