Natural wine corks are superior to synthetic ones, and are most certainly preferred to screw caps. No, I’m not a Connoisseur. This isn’t the a judgement on the flavor retaining properties of cork versus cap. It is simply my opinion as a polymer clay enthusiast. Traditional cork can be cured as part of a “wine cork hugger” sculpture.
